I know someone posted this thread and i seatched for it but it was something about a rebate for the taxes we payed on our cars and a link for the calculator to figure it out. does anyone know where this was?? i wasnt sure if it was this forum or the g8board. thanks

I received a Federal income tax guide in the mail today which stated that the state sales tax attributable to the first $49,500 of the purchase price is deductable on cars, light trucks, motor homes or motorcycles purchased after Feb. 17, 2009 and before Jan. 1, 2010. The deduction is phased out for married filing joint with adjusted income around 250k or singles at 125k. Hope this helps. Talk to your tax pro and get some $$$ back.

Only after taking possession from the builder, one can avail IT benefits as per IT rules. Just making 100% payment without taking possession, can not qualify.

Just saying, that is an odd response to the posts above..???
