yesterday I felt great, time to go get some beer at the store for mothers day. So i start the car, wait 2-3 minutes then drive out of the driveway towards street. once in the street i sorta floored it, 1st gear, not full rpm, only till about 4500 rpm, but then i realised, damit i didnt wait until the engine was fully hot. When i did this , the temperature gauge was begining to rise but was not at is stable temp. That was the only gear i did that on. I live in california so it was not cold outside. Could i have damaged the engine by doing this? I have a 2009 g8 gt 15k miles, stock
