I have a 2009 black G8 GXP with a red and black interior and sunroof. The car has less than 300 miles on it. It's a blast to drive etc., but I may not be able to keep it.

I have looked at Edmunds and elsewhere to get an ideal of the value, but the car is too new. One dealer quoted $31K which seems crazy to me.

Does anyone out there know what this car is worth-- direct sale by me as well as sale to a dealer?

May I ask why are you getting rid of it so soon? Great car. Unfortunately once off the lot, the price changes. Maybe 34-35k with a private sale.

I may opt into a used CTS-V. It's a tough decision...

Boy that's a tuff situation to be in. A new GXP can be had for around $37K after $3K rebate so you will need to find a cash buyer but $35K-$36K with only 300 miles would be a good deal for someone.
