No ST

As reported nearly everywhere on the web, in communication to dealers this week Pontiac announced the cancellation, not just postponement, of the ST. It is a move baffling to many of us since money has already been spent and accounted for in design and engineering to convert the VE Ute for North America. The Ute is already in production and is in no apparent danger of not staying so - Aussies love their utes. The interior, including switch to LHD is already part and parcel of the G8. Power train is proven. Maybe they would only sell one boatload a year, but that's still 2-3k more than not selling them.
