You should try one of the other G8 boards where some of the technical experts hang out.
Need some quick help...PLEASE!
Hello, ive been on the phone all day and the net all week so far, and am running into an oil pan issue, maybe its an easy fix and im just not looking in the right place.
Im pulling my v6 out, and installing a 6.0, i set up an appt to have the car flashed, but was concerned about the oil pan.
The motor is a truck motor(LQ4), but i was told the truck pan has a clearance issue, called gm again today to order a pan and oil pick up, the gentleman looked up my year(09) but with the GT option, and told me that in 09.5 the pans changed? can someone right fast tell me what pan and pump would work so i can order it and finish this swap this weekend, i would greatly appriciate the help
