i know gm thought about bringing it to our market but thought it wouldnt be a smart move so they scratched it and i was wondering how hard it could be to import one from australia? I know there would be taxes and would they allow it on the streets...ideas and opinions would be appriecated

Read up on an Aussie outfit that was giving consideration to it here G8 ST - Import - Pontiac G8 Forum: G8 Forums - G8Board.com Whether they still have interest I do not know. It can't be an easy process and an individual cannot import a vehicle not sold here without posting major bond and having car certified to meet all federal standards.

There are loopholes for what are considered small manufacturers and for vehicles over 25 years old.
