Well, the time has come. Back in the day, someone shared a website where you could find the dealership each of these G8 GXP's were being shipped to. I found the car I wanted: PBM, M6, Sunroof and it had not even been offloaded from the ship in Oakland, CA. It was to be delivered to Briggs Pontiac, Manhattan, KS. I called them and told them I wanted to buy the car. They told me they had no idea what I was talking about. A few conversations later, they finally had notification of the upcoming delivery. A few days after it was delivered to the dealership, I drove about 10 hours in my trade-in and bought the car. She's been a really good car and fun to drive. 90% highway miles and 100% garage kept. She got barely 7k miles/year early on but has been my daily driver for the last three years. 79,079 on the clock. Bone stock except for the shark fin antenna, K&N air filter, and interior LED lights. She drives straight and true, smooth as silk on the road. Clean title. Fly into Knoxville, TN and drive her home. $27,500.
