Question New owner - antenna question...

Go easy on me. I'm new to the board. I did a search but didn't come up with much. The one thread I found was pretty old and referenced something that was "supposed to be available in June," but it's June and I can't find anything more about that.

Just bought a 2009 G8 GT last night. Am totally excited, but...

We park our car under a lift. That goofy pigtail antenna has to go or it's going to catch. I can't understand why the car doesn't have the same type of shark fin antenna as most vehicles. Does anybody make something that will replace or work with the current set-up (including XM and Onstar) that can help me get rid of the pigtail?

I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times and I just didn't find my answer.

Maybe not a sharkfin, but try for shorty-style.
