lowering the GXP

Can I just lower the car by jacking it up and turning the nuts to lower a bit Like in my Corvette? or is there more to the GXPs suspension?

I ordered the H&R lowering kit from tire rack! 1.5" should be perfect! I have an 08 z06 and dont think the suspension is the same at all.

Thanks Ill look into that, the hardest part of lowering my z06 was getting it on jacks, then just turned the bolts and done!!!

that is my GXP in the pic, but its stock (suspension that is). I noticed it prominently when i was parked next to a GT. My front end was at least a half inch higher than his. I am more concerned about the front end drop v. the rear drop. I already rub a little with my aftermarket wheels and i already rolled my fenders, so i more interested in a half inch to inch drop up front.
