Do I need to do alignment again after replacing the rear and front shocks?

I just replaced my four tires yesterday and did alignment to avoid tire problems. I went to a mechanic to check my car and he told me that I need to replace the front and GM Tech 2 shocks with Struts

Yes. An alignment should be included in the estimate to replace the struts. If not, ask for it. You don't want to mess up those brand new tires.
