With all the gloom and doom I am giving a Vararam away on my site. It will include the cleaning kit, as well as the Holden radiator cover. Hopefully this will brighten someones day.

Ran into your site as well, nice to know there is some locals that know a thing or two about these cars. I'm in NW Houston just turned 300 miles on my new 2009 so I'm taking it easy on her until we turn a few more miles before I get on her (more)
so where on your site do we sign up for the drawing?
Well, I think I searched to the ends of the internet...thank you Al Gore...and still can't find definitive answers. I have a bone stock 09 GT and am considering the Vararam CAI system but need some answers first. 1) What does the system utilize to counter water problems from rain and road? I know water injection worked great for B-52 bombers and performance, but the L76 probably does not like it. There have been posts of some CAIs not designed to counter water and thus soaking the engine with some catastrophic results. 2) What kind of filter life should I expect? The Vararam uses a custom filter but I cannot find if the element is an oil soaked reusable or dry reusable or other. A little concerned that over time, the parts sources will dry up and I will be without a custom filter. 3) Any pictures of the system with an added radiator cover. The standard Vararam install leaves the engine compartment looking a little unkept with the exposed radiator area. Anyway, your comments would be much appreciated. Thanks, Rob
