Default Oil Change, What Is The Best Synthetic Oil For G8 GT?

Hi, I'm getting oil change for the first time in my 2009 Pontiac G8 GT and was wondering what the best synthetic oil to use on it would be.

Be prepared to drop a hundred spot for the oil change. I was caught off guard by this as I have never needed synthetic before.

I wound up going full synthetic like I did in my Porsche Cayenne S. I used Valvoline full synthetic. I went to Tire Kingdom and got it done for $72. They didn't charge extra for the extra quarts it took over the standard 5 (8+ quarts total). I was happy with the price. I shopped around and the range I got was $70-$100 When I had the Porsche Cayenne most places wouldn't work on it. It would cost me $145-$200 for an oil change (also 8+ quarts) at one of 2 German places I would take it to. The dealer was $200. So all in all I'm satisfied.

I don't believe we have Tire Kingdoms around here in Cincy but I will check, sounds like you got a great deal.
