Default Hood Scoops

I popped off the hood scoops yesterday, It wasn't very difficult. I then removes the plastic piece that covers the inside of the honeycomb. My GTO had open scoops but also had a CAI installed. I plan to make my own CAI that will open up right below the inlets on the underside of the hood.

The area around the scoops is low pressure. That will pull air OUT of the scoops at speed. Most folks have been opening them up to help get the heat out.

Check this out. It's on the pricey side but neat looking. $770

I like the over the radiator style. vararam makes a similer style but over half the price and I have read good things about it.
