Default $15 Intake Replacement

If you're looking for a quick and easy replacement for the stock intake, I spotted a nice thick silicone rubber 90 degree pipe coupling at Lowes that fits.

I hose clamped one end to the intake manifold, the other end to the MAF, and put a 4" K&N Filter directly on the other side of the MAF. Drilled a half inch hole in the rubber coupling to insert the temp sensor, and that's it. Nothing fancy looking but hell it feels and sounds better than the bulky stock monster, and it was a 15 min job.

Next time I'm at the strip I'll compare the numbers, but can't beat $15 bucks. You could probably snag a few more couplers and get the filter down lower, but was just a spur of the moment job. Cheers,
