Default How does the GM military pricing work or compare to GMS price?

I know that the GMS employee pricing is going on until the end of the month. It looks to be a good deal but I am also curious about how the military discount price compares to this? I followed a link before to the Pontiac site in an attempt to find out about how much of a discount I could expect but had a hard time with it. Could anyone give me a simple breakdown of how much of a discount there actually is with the military discount? Thanks for your time.

I just bought a G8 and I said to dealer I had a gm military discount code and they ended up giving me a better price compared to the military dicount. I went a few hundred bucks better. I know you can do better than military discount, way better. Go to the gm military discount, find a vehicle, build it a vehicle and go to the dealer and see if they will beat the military price. If You have USAA you get an addittional $750. discount plus any current rebate. If you deploy to a combat zone you can visit a AAFES vehicle sales office and buy either a ford, Dodge or Harley with all current rebates and cheaper with no tax( to the best of my memory). I would visit a bank and get a pre approval on a loan and take it to where ever you decide to purchase. I did that and when the finance guy saw I had a check, he beat Navy federals rate by.5%.
