Anyone having peeling of flaking issues with the silver inserts on their steering wheels. Mine looks like paint splatter on the bottom right insert. I also have peeling on the inside top. I can take my fingernail to it and peel it or scratch it off. Taking it in Thursday to start the process of getting it replaced. Holla to all boys (and girls) with G8's in Northwest Ohio!
I am having the same issue on my 08. I bought it used and didn't notice it till the next day. Just took it to my local chevy dealer and will be getting it replaced under warrenty once the part comes in. Mine is flaking bad under the buttons on the left side of the wheel, like the previous owner was resting his hand there while driving.
