I have installed HID's and they are a total pain with the DRL's. Only one comes on in DRL mode and neither with the headlights. I have added relays but no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
All you have to do is remove fuse #17 (I think that is the one)(check the manual) and the DRL's will not come on anymore. I have had my MTEC HID's for over 3 months with no problems. BTW the ballast fits nicely on the inner fender just behind the lights.
i removed the relay that runs the DRL and i have the issue with only one light turing on as well... i will see if removing the fuse works better.. ive already had to replace a bulb because of this issue.. pisses me off.. i also bought the wiring harness and still no change.. crosses fingers for the fuse to work...

Grey Ghost in VA... Did you use a relay harness to power the HIDs or just the ballast? Did you have to increase to a large fuse for the right and left low beams? I keep blowing my 10A fuse for the low beams when using only the ballast (no relay harness).

I removed fuse #17 ,but it still turned on.So i had to take my car to the car repair store to fix it.
