G8 Test drives in your neighborhood ATL and Nashville
Hello fellow RWD enthusiasts! I just drove a G8 GT two weeks ago and I was blown away. The power was instant, the seat was comfortable and the handling blew away my Camaro SS. The price is ridculously cheap,so I have to get one. I've seen the forum before but didn't join until yesterday.
I never wanted to test drive at a dealership. The thought was as appealing to me as getting a root canal. But, I made it through the experience and now I am in the consideration phase.
I live in the Atlanta area and was shopping for plants this past Saturday at a local Lowe's store and was very surprised to see a test drive going on in front of the store. I saw a G8 pulling up and a guy was getting out of the car with a big smile on his face. They had an Enclave and some GMC's along with the G8 there. I walked up to the guy who was running the test drive and asked him what dealership he was with. He said he was not with a dealer and was hired by GM to do test drives around the South. There was zero pressure, you could drive whatever you wanted and they gave you a Lowe's gift card, too! I was so happy to see GM finally putting this car out there. I asked the guy where else he was doing the test drives and he told me metro Atlanta and Nashville areas. He even gave me a print out of the locations. So, I am putting those up so if you live there and want to drive a G8 or other vehicle without a hassle, you can take advantage of the opportunity. Peace!
