Default G8 GT engine
I know that the new GXP eingine is the LS3, but what about the GT engine? Is it basically an L92 truck engine?

No, it's basically a L76 truck engine, with larger valves?, a Corvette intake manifold and a specific oil pan, among other things. http://media.gm.com/us/powertrain/en...Car/08_L76.doc
The L92 (now L9H) is a 6.2L
