My dealership was one of the lucky ones to receive one of the first 888 series. Ours is number 612 of the series. Liquid Red, with an Ebony Leather interior. It's a GT with the Premium Package.

I have one of the first 888 but not really sure what number it is...is it the last three numbers of the VIN?

Actually last 5 as the first two of last 5 has to be '88'. There are more than one 2008 G8 with last 3 of 001, and there is also a 2009 with same #.

i previously said i had #157, i will say that i don't have one of the first 888. i am thinking that if those cars were debuted in march, mine wasn't manufactured until april of 08, but anyway, i still love it. and like a cts, it does return the favor.
