Default Battery and oil life gauges

I own an 09 G8 GT and was wondering if the batt life and oil life gauges above the radio only come on G8s that dont have the lcd screen?

The gauges above the radio were only installed in the 08 models. I guess they thought they looked stupid and didn't put them in the 09 models. But to me it looks kinda blank there.

I agree, that area just looks wrong without something in there. I would prefer analog gauges as opposed to the atari gauges. Looking at guages available through JHP but they are spendy!! Anyone who has those gauges please post some pics.

I think jhp has a setup to put a garmin gps in there instead. the vents are moved 90 degrees and theres a perfect spot for the gps. looks real nice and a little cheaper than guages.
