Decided to see what the market is for my car. I've owned it for just over a year and half and have just UNDER 3500 miles as of this posting.
It's a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. Liquid red with black leather interior. It has both the premium and sports package (no sunroof option).
I bought it to be my daily driver but just can't bring myself to run this car around the nasty streets of Washington, DC each and every day.
I still take it out on the occasional sunny day cruise but for the most part, it's been sitting in the garage. It has never seen rain. It has never even sat unexposed to the baking sun for any period of time (other than driving). I am a non-smoker and I am the original owner.
I am selling it for two reasons ...... well three. As you can tell with the milegage, I just don't drive it. I bought it to drive daily and to "play around" in. However, most times I drive it now, I am usually with my wife and son (in a carseat) so my playing around is curtailed for obvious reasons. And we all know, this car isn't made to do 55mph ALL THE TIME. Secondly, my wife and I are expecting our second child so my time to mess around with this car will be even less for a while. I have a hard time making a car payment on a car that doesn't get used like it should. Lastly, with the second child coming soon, I could probably use the garage as a workshop in order to give me a little "escape place". LOL.
Please don't take that as an oppertunity to low ball me. I am in no hurry to sell and have no NEED to. It's just the most practical/logical decision to sell and I feel I am asking for a VERY fair price ...... actually under what comparable cars are going for. I am simply looking for a painless/quick process requiring no back and forth.
Really, it just comes down to the fact that I don't drive it much so someone is going to get themselves a VERY nice car that is in EXCELLENT shape inside and out.
This car is like new. In fact, I'd be willing to bet it's nicer than any car found on a dealer lot (used OR new) at this point. It's been detailed on the inside (required little) and the outside (cleared up the normal swirl marks, etc famous of GM products). I use a variety of Adam's and Zaino products. I can provide many more photos in addition to the ones presented below.
Car has been SLIGHTLY modded to include a Vararam CAI (I still have original hardware), Superchips Cortex programer (matched to Vararam and 93 octane) which is included with sale, tinted windows (30%), HID headlights for low beam and fogs, painted calipers, washer mod for exhaust and it has been debadged (partially).
It still has all remaining warranties from Pontiac/GM.
