Default FS: Superchips Cortex, Magnaflow "Street" cat-back exhaust, Vararam Intake

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I recently sold my beloved G8GT and now all my bolt ons are for sale (intake, cat-back exhaust, and hand-held programmer). All of these items were installed on a 2009 G8GT for 19,000 miles. They will work with a 2008 G8GT as well. THe items are located in Brighton, Michigan, about 50 miles west of Detroit.

Here's the skinny on these items--
The Vararam intake is the best on the market and will give you up to 35 additional horses!!!!! Plus it looks awesome in the engine bay and gives an incredible induction howl that is simple intoxicating. This model also has a ram air effect that is very noticable at speeds over 40 mph- highway acceleration is outstanding (there's a reason all of the Corvette guys use Vararam when upgrading thier intake)!! I have cleaned the filter but it will need to be re-oiled prior to use. The exhaust is Magnaflow's "street series" which gives a noticeable increase in exhaust tone but does not sound obnoxious and there is virtually no drone with this set up. This will net you another 12-15 horses. I polished one of the axle-backs by hand for about 15 minutes using magic wadding polish to give you idea how these would clean up should you choose. I would imagine that hitting them with a neumatic buffer would easily return the whole exhaust to a new appearance in a matter of minutes. The rust you see is surface rust so it would polish out quickly. Finally, the Superchips Cortex is simply the most convenient and efficient way to bring your G8GT alive. You will be able to remap your vehicle's fuel management system and transmission control module for maximum combustion, horsepower, and acceleration (trans hesitation is gone!!). My old car was flashed back to stock so you will have full programmability and acces to all tune updates and on-line adjustments. It is currently loaded with the tune that is customized to the Vararam intake and the exhaust so it is as close to a custom tune as possible for dirt cheap. It takes about 5 minutes to load the tune into your car and you can flash it back to stock in the same amount of time should you need to take the car in for service. It is currently pre-loaded with the performance tunes for 87, 91, and 93 octane. This gives you ridiculous increases in performance and better fuel efficiency as well (about 10-15% increase in efficiency that covers the cost of running 93 octane). Using the datalogging feature, my best stock 0-60 was 5.4 seconds. With the tune and bolt ons I was runnng 4.5 seconds (and I am a crappy driver)!! I never ran a quarter mile time but others running this same set up have reported mid to high 12's on the G8 boards. Although I did not dyno my car, others who have the same setup have reported up to 390 hp at the wheels with this set up on the G8 boards! Trust me, this will make you car a whole new animal.

Included in the package is:

1) Superchips Cortex programmer model 2950 (retail 379.99). This will also program Diesel: 2500 & 3500 Series Truck
Gas: All Chevrolet & GMC gas truck, Escalade, Denali, H2, H3 Alpha, SSR, Trailblazer SS, 2500 & 3500 Series (classic body), 2500 & 3500 Series (new body), Corvette, Camaro Z28, Impala SS, Monte Carlo SS, Ranier, CTS-V, G8 GT, GTO, Firebird, Trans Am, Grand Prix, Cobalt SS, Solstice GXP, HHR SS and Sky Redline.

2) Magnaflow Stainless cat-back "street series" exhaust system model 16887 (retail $1268.37). Follow this link for soundclips: MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles

3) Vararam G8GT/GXP ram air intake (retail $369.99). See this link for more info on how awesome this thing is: VR-G8 Ram Air.

I am asking $950 for the entire package. Make it $1,000.00 and I will help you install it all on your car in my heated garage! that reflects more than 55%off the retail price not including shipping! I would preferr not to ship anything and sell to a local guy or girl but I wil ship the intake and the programmer if neccessary. You can reach me (Ed) at 248-303-8590.

I will sell the items seperately for the below prices but prefer to sell the entire package:

Exhaust:$450
Intake: $250
Programmer: $250.
