oxygen sensor problem

Hey everyone just wondered if anyone has ever had the same problem i have just had? I just installed the magnaflow cat-back exhaust on my 09 g8 gt and when i went to remove the o2 sensors from the factory exhaust the threads stripped off. I just had to order two new sensors from the local chevy dealer for about $110 a piece. Just wondering if thats a common thing?

If you try to take the o2 sensor out when the pipe is cold this happens some times. Its a little harder to work with a hot pipe.
