Maybe a new addition!

Looking at possibly joining the community here soon! I have a 2009 G6 GT and although I love the vehicle, I'm rounding up on 90k miles and can see the value of the vehicle dropping by the day. I have always been in love with the G8's and I am finally in a position where I can make that a reality!
I am looking at the 2008 and 2009 GT's - would love a GXP but at 35 to 40k, thats a bit out of my price range.
My questions: What do you love/hate about the vehicle? I have read that many people report the transmission is not the best - that it seems a bit 'glitchy' - might you all be able to elaborate on that please?
I think I picked the perfect 'wednesday build' car - knock on wood the only issue I have had with my G6 was the passenger rear door lock was 'sticky' and the radio face ( the seek buttons ) the black was rubbing off. Mechanically it has been a dream, granted it is fairly slow ( especially in comparison ).
Long story short - would you buy your G8 all over again?
