JEGXP/New member from Northern Virginia
Hello: I'm from Mount Vernon,Va. about 9 miles south of Washington, D.C. Purchased a new 2009.5 Panther Black/ Black/Red interior G8 GXP on April 19 from Koons Chevy / Pontiac Tysons Corner. It is 6-speed auto w/ sunroof. Sticker was $40,000+ but I got it for $34,610.($3500.00 cash back and the GMS price) and 0% financing. I really feel I got a good deal since this was the only dealer who wasn't marking them up. I absolutely love the car. Not sure if I regret not getting it in 6-speed manual, as very heavy traffic area, much stop/go driving, but only stopped in to ask about the Camaro, and ended up driving it off showroom floor. There doesnt seem to be any available since the announcement of no 2010 G8's. Koons was having one shipped from Oregon that they purchased from a dealer, and it has a $5000.00 mark-up. I currently have 3200 miles on it. Considering a Roto-Fab CAI, 35% window tint all around,HID headlights, can't decide about wheels and tires. I love the sound the exhaust makes and it is a true dual exhaust system so not ready to switch yet....
