Question I am new and I want a G8 GT need some color help

I have been shopping for one of these for a while while I was in nursing school. I am working now and would like to buy myself something new. I have a 2006 Lime Green Mustang GT. I can't decide what color to get. I like: Red Hot, Maverick Silver, and Liquid Red. Wanted a blue at first someone got one here in town and I am not that crazy about it now... I like metallic colors so I like the silver but do not like how it takes away from chrome. I have a LIME green car so would like something that stands out so I thought red. Used to have a red grand am gt. Loved it but shows imperfections easily. There are also alot of white ones out there. Well I have no clue what I want lol!!

Blonde? Just kidding.

What part of the country are you in and what kind of weather do you experience? Darker the color the more dirt will show. Liquid Red will get attention but the darker red is sharp in its own right. My local dealer has a dark red ready to get out from under its blanket of snow.

Default Colors

No Brilliant Brunette, thanks.

I actually don't like the Sport Red, that's why I didn't list it in my first post. I looks maroon to me. I live in central Louisiana. I don't live down a dirt road or anything. I am just very particular about my car and if I got black I would be out there with a Q-Tip every day cleaning every crack! I appreciate your help. I just want to make sure that when I spend all of this money, I am happy with it. I was going to get the GXP, but I am trying to be more practical and save on gas and have a smaller note. Lol who doesn't want that. It will just be sad trading in my pony because I have loved it, I am just tired of having no room. I was thinking about getting a Camaro, but that would leave me in the same position with no room for anything. Thanks again!!

well first of all. get a figure on your mustang if you are trading it in. (I sell cars in Atlanta Ga). so to be honest the color you picked on your pony in not a very popular color take in to account any accidents, milage anything more than 10k ayear and it will get a hit. realistic i would say your car is worth 10k to maybe 13k depending on options. with deducting those mentioned above. If your car is paid for that is a good thing. Smart, Brunette in an Mag Grey Met. HOT!!!!!! Good luck on your pic and you can get a new G8 GT for 28k out the door that is what I paid for mine and countless others also.

Thanks, but I have already done all of that. They were very impressed with the color and the condition. Being that it is a rare color and I have taken excellent care of it. I also haven't had any accidents so that doesn't apply to this case. This is going to be my fourth car and I have been through the whole trading/purchasing process before. I also am getting well over what you predicted. I posted inquiring about colors and listed the ones I was interested in. MGM is not one of them though, but thanks for the advice on the price, 28k sounds close to what we are discussing.

Niki, thought you were leaning toward the darker red as you did list two reds in your first post and there are only two reds available. As far as keeping clean-looking Silver is a better choice than Grey. I've had both colors before and also bright reds and with silver I could go longer between washes without it looking like I had skipped the detail.

Default Red

Lol, I dunno where I got Red Hot from. That is probably a color of something else that I like haha. I look at cars too much online obviously. Thanks!

Niki,

I have recently purchased a G8 in the Maverick Silver. I have always been a "silver" guy.
Don't be worried about the chrome. The silver will not take away from it. Once you have the car polished well you'll be amazed at the way the bright trim looks. Plus silver is the safest color and most easily seen. Go for Silver!
