Can I just lower the car by jacking it up and turning the nuts to lower a bit Like in my Corvette? or is there more to the GXPs suspension?

I ordered the H&R lowering kit from tire rack! 1.5" should be perfect! I have an 08 z06 and dont think the suspension is the same at all.

Thanks Ill look into that, the hardest part of lowering my z06 was getting it on jacks, then just turned the bolts and done!!!
