Default Got my Winter Rims and Tires on!

Hey Guys,

This is my first post... but I've been lurking for a very very long time now.
Quick intro...

My name is Dylan, I am a University Commerce Graduate.
I live just outside of Toronto, Ontario... I purchased my 2009 G8 GT when I was 21, I just turned 22. I also own a 2006 Pontiac Solstice, purchased that when I was 18. Currently, the G8GT has 9,000 km on it, and the '06 Solstice has 6,000 km on it. I purchased 22" Gianna Blitz rims for the G8, and I will be putting those on in the spring.

Anywho, here are the pics of my winter tire and rim setup.
Ps: Those are the 18" Camaro steel rims... Tires are the Michelin X Ice 2's.

Are the Camaro steelies 5 x 120 mm or did you have to use something else to get them mounted? What is the full size of the tire, XXX/XX/R18? Looks great. Since you are talking kms are you in Canada? How much was it total?

Im not too sure about the 5 x 120mm...
The camaro steeliest just mounted right on, no fit problems, nothing.
Full size of the tire is 245/45R18.
and yep, I live in Ontario, Canada.

The total cost for the rims and tires (best tires on the market apparently)
was $1,700 taxes in... But I got everything for 5% over cost... I know a few people

L76GT8, the question for you is why are you such a s***ty driver that you fear RWD in the snow? Grow up, junior.

dude, grow up.

To your question though- why would I drive such a nice car in the winter thats rwd?

Why not?

A car is a car, its meant to be driven. There are many RWD vehicles with large hp numbers like the g8 has.. that drive in the snow.

Yes, I was just talking smack about your reaction to his snow tires. As he talks about kilometers versus miles I am sure he lives in Canada, which means drive RWD in the snow or go home.

Before the Japanese gave us the gift on FWD tin boxes we managed to drive in the snow just fine with RWD and snow tires. Not everyone needs or can afford to own more than one vehicle. Why own a FWD POS because you can only afford one vehicle?

As for the "IF" I am a Soldier.

Default 2010 Camaro steel wheel part no?

Do you know what the GM part number is for the 2010 Camaro steel wheel? What price did you pay for the rims only? What lugnuts did you use and were there any fitment issues or clearence problems?

Thanks
Paul
