The 6.0 V8 of the G8 GT will give you somewhere between 18-19 MPG in typical mixed (city/hwy) driving. I have an '08 with only 4500 Miles on it, and the absolute BEST that I've seen on an all highway road trip at a steady 70 MPH was 23 MPG. I have never seen the 24 MPG EPA number that was printed on the sticker, but this figure is derived from a theoretical method that Uncle Sam uses. When it's all city driving (i.e. stop and go), then you can also get into the mid-teens (17 MPG).
